...The model of upfront license is really a problem.

My conviction on that affair from private and public data I have is that Industrial Heat simply does not have the full IP (know how, recipe...) to make an E-cat, and that is the basic of the agreement.

Rossi as he showed previsously refuse to trust and share. what he gave was insufficient and IH complain that it does not work. (read well their answer - not substanciated : they cannot replicate).
In a way this is normal if you know Rossi's psychology. he clearly want to lock everything and is afraid to be stolen.

I was surprised to hear the good buzz from partners and simply people who met him about darden.

I know well the offer of LENr-cities, and the idea is in the same direction (less far) as what darden say he want to do (remember his talk at ICCF19 Padua).
He already have few scientists working with him, and it seems he is building a patent pool, not by buying but by having cross license... to be confirmed.

this model of ecosystem cross licensing is key to LENR-Cities, but they offer another model to fund research.

instead of scientists asking for a big license for a nearly ready technology, there is a logic of medium business crowdfunding, funding specific research programs, which fund various research teams.
In exchange of funding programs, the companies have access to the IP developed by the teams (who still own it), relative to the programs they funded.
Price of license is free like speech, but not free like beer...

The problem of LENR is that you need money before you have something to buy.
the model of LC is to propose an insurance model to business who don't want to miss the revolution if it happens.
the risk exist as soon as the opportunity exist, so the market of insurance against disruption versus research to implement the disruption exist...

Darden is goodwilling but his VC model is a bit ill-designed for such a disruption and non-existing technology.

The trial will say who fooled who, if any, but in case IH is sincere and Rossi simply refuse to cooperate, I trust more the ant-colony ecosystem of IH than a wannabe Rockefeller genius.

Anyway what a mess...
Alain_Cohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08352476615242858677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864176.post-30904048968427081602016-04-12T21:55:08.816+10:002016-04-12T21:55:08.816+10:00Hi Mike,

The whole pict...obviously don't like the truth.
The whole picture needs to be included not just the installed devices. I am not a supporter of fossil fuels or nuclear. I am concerned about continuing business as usual and its devastation of the earth and humanities future.
Solar and wind energy collecting devices and their auxiliary equipment have an industrial history. They are an extension of the fossil fuel supply system and the global industrial infrastructure. It is important to understand the industrial infrastructure and the environmental results for the components of the solar energy collecting devices so we don’t designate them with false labels such as green, renewable or sustainable.
This is a challenge to ‘business as usual’. If we teach people that these solar devices are the future of energy without teaching the whole system, we mislead, misinform and create false hopes and beliefs. They are not made with magic wands.
These videos are primarily concerning solar energy collecting devices. These videos and charts are provided by the various industries themselves. I have posted both charts and videos for the solar cells, modules, aluminum from ore, aluminum from recycling, aluminum extrusion, inverters, batteries and copper.
Please note each piece of machinery you see in each of the videos has its own industrial interconnection and history.
http://sunweber.blogspot.com/2015/04/solar-devices-industrial-infrastructure.html
John Weber https://www.blogger.com/profile/18104568019314685460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864176.post-71987427718218849532016-04-06T22:32:41.286+10:002016-04-06T22:32:41.286+10:00It appears that technology (and a persistent misun...It appears that technology (and a persistent misunderestimation of Saudi Arabian and Russian ability to maintain high levels of production) has the upper hand at the moment ;-)
Big Gavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00682404837426502876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864176.post-42756975939270473352016-04-03T22:10:14.242+10:002016-04-03T22:10:14.242+10:00Ahhh the new Tesla.
