You have me pegged - its quite true that large reptiles aren't good at standing up on boards.

We are pretty good at body surfing though - the tail helps a lot...

Gav, I thought you were kidding about going surfing, but last night I saw an amazing TV report about a croc body surfing into Nth Qld beaches.

What worries me is the intersection of this phenomena with global warming. As the planet heats up crocs could start heading south towards more populated areas. Overheated humans flocking to the beaches and crocs surfing in for big time lunch makes for a nasty collision :-)
