Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007

On once again, and the photos are as good as ever. The best slideshow seems to be at The Guardian, though finding images I can embed is a bit tricky (the NHM also has a gallery, but their server seems to be overwhelmed).

I thought the swimming elephant photo was probably the best, though the leopard seal photos and accompanying descriptions were the most intriguing, with the narwhal shots not far behind.

Its interesting just how quickly digital SLR cameras have a replaced film cameras, even for this quality of image.

www.featurepics.com has a "blogger free" license available. They have a lot of great photos on a variety of topics.
