What a neat advertisement, great post!
Enjoyed this ad and great blog.
Thanks.
Which leads to the question: how much weight CAN we rickshaw around?
but yeah, go trains, trams, and trolley buses! Did you ever read that report by Roy Leembruggen that a viable trolley bus line could be built from the CBD to Ryde in about a year? Straight down the (then presumably much emptier) Victoria road.
That's the kind of thing that's going to be interesting to watch develop over the next decade or so.
Hey, everything's going to be interesting to watch. Substitution for oil here, adaptation to life without oil there, struggling here, prospering there... the whole economy transforming. Very interesting.
Thanks guys.
I think rickshaw cargo is really limited by braking - those loads in the ads would be hard to imagine stopping quickly in an emergency.
Personally speaking, times are a little too interesting for me at the moment (hence the low volume of posts lately) - I could do with things stabilising for a while...
