Climate Change - Those hacked e-mails  

Gav, I really wonder about people's critical thinking skills.

Here we have some politicians and political lobbyists accusing scientists of lying and conspiracy to withold the truth, and making very selective quotes from illegally obtained emails -- quotes which don't back up their accusations at all.

Which of these two groups is known for their professional need to "spin" the truth, and penchant for forming cliques? Politicos, or scientists? Which is known for adherence to the truth, despite costs to person or career?

Seriously, why weren't the accusations on the "funnies" page of the newspaper? "Politician accuses scientists of "spin"." Ha-ha, good one.
